Cian Redmond is a 24-year-old visual artist from Clondalkin. Cian studied in Ballyfermot College of Further Education and is a recent graduate of the National College of Art and Design. His work is primarily lens-based, observing obscure objects and moments that catch his attention. Cian documents these weird, witty, and thought-provoking moments in a range of different formats. During his time in The Darkroom, he has been exploring the 'Age of Anxiety' by making a 3-minute film, shot on Super 8mm and developed by hand.

‘Constitution Hill’ showcases communication issues with teenagers and how their mobile phones have altered the way they communicate with one another. The film is written with light-hearted humor and aims to reflect the subjects based on observations and instances that I’ve experienced with similar characters.
