FDS01 - Super 8 Workshop

Dates: 21st and 22nd of October

Super 8 immersive weekend + ; from shooting , scanning to editing. Start the day by learning how to use the camera and its creative applications. Watch films previously made in the course to see the possibilities of what you can achieve. If you have an idea or a story you would like to shoot, let us know in advance so we can help you set it up. On the second day of the workshop, you will hand-develop and scan your film. The Dark Room will provide all material which includes one Super 8 film and a Super 8 camera (if needed) for the duration of the course. On the last day (evening) you will learn basic digital editing skill to revers your film, add captions and simple corrections.

Our workshops are designed with a limited number of spaces in order to ensure that each participant receives valuable one-to-one attention from the tutor and enjoys their time at the Dark Room.

Duration: Two days , 10.30am – 4.30pm, both days.
